My name is Corrinne. I’m a creative mum of three, and a proud self-proclaimed geek who fell in love with cake making in my twenties and never looked back. My interests range from listening to heavy metal music and anything Disney, to going to live concerts (even if they leave me with a sore neck and ringing ears!)

Creativity has always been part of my life, from drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil to self taught cross stitching for quiet moments. I decide to give cake decorating a go as a hobby and quickly caught the bug and realised I was quite talented with it.

After years of creating cakes for friends and family, Prime Cakes became a business in 2020. Fun fact: the name was inspired by my favourite legendary Autobot, Optimus Prime…… proof of my geek credentials!

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills, developed my style, and discovered my passion for bold, artistic designs. Every cake is crafted as a sugar-paste work of art with exceptional attention to detail.

I would love to help couples celebrate their wedding day with a cake that feels uniquely theirs. I’m particularly drawn to black wedding cakes and designing pieces that reflect a couple’s personality—from love stories to favourite films and everything in between. The possibilities are endless.
