My name is Aileen, and in a past life I worked for the NHS as a midwife for 20 years! In 2015 I started dabbling with cupcakes and cakes and the rest, as they say, is history! I gave up my job all together in March 2021 to pursue wedding cakes full time and its been non stop ever since.



I specialise in luxury, clean, sharp wedding cakes with a wow factor! I do love to make a pretty cake with hand made sugar flowers, but I also have a dark side for something ‘quirky’. I made three giant French fancies for a wedding last year and my picture went viral, being seen by over 3 million people UK wide. I disappointed a lot of English brides that week! I also love a ‘hidden back’ or a ‘compromise’ cake and I also specialise in French macarons. I make thousands of these per year, whether they are being used in favours, on towers or cascading down a cake.

I’m afraid I don’t have any pets, but I do have a husband and two children who are 21 and 17. They are all absolute geeks, just like me, and between us all, we have a vast knowledge of everything geeky for those who want a cake that reflects who they are and their own passions.

Not only do I specialise in cakes that look amazing, but also cakes which taste amazing. I have a vast list of cake flavours which I have developed, and I am always up for trying new combos and ideas. Some of my most popular flavours are Vanilla & Scottish Tablet, Cherry Bakewell, Lemon & Rapsberry, Tiramisu, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry & champagne and Coconut & Raspberry.
