All our cakes are handmade in our bakery using the best quality ingredients. We offer a choice of 10 delicious flavours and we will provide you with samples of all 10 too! We are a passionate bunch who will stop at nothing to make sure your wedding cake is absolutely perfect. Great tasting cakes, flawless designs and top notch customer service, we offer it all. We also deal directly with your venue to arrange delivery and set up of your cake in one of our Jappavans! 
 

Our team - Jappacakes is owned and managed by Laura. Laura is the tattooed one who isn’t allowed to hold consultations because she talks too much. She does most of the design work behind the scenes and answers most of the emails. Laura employs her mum and husband Andrew, so it’s a real family business. Mary (mum!) takes care of keeping the shop spotless and organising the deliveries and bakery. Andrew does a bit of everything from baking, decorating, deliveries and set up! We also have our Rachel, who has been with Jappacakes for 5 years now. Rachel does most of the consultations and deliveries/set ups. In between she also does baking, decorating and design work. We all take turns doing the dishes

and making the coffee!

 

We are a friendly wee team who care as much about your wedding cake as you do. 

 

Fun fact - when Laura and Andrew got married, Lord Vader and 2 Stormtroopers escorted Laura up the aisle and attended their wedding (see below)! We also have Pet photo attached! This is Trevor the Tortoise, no that's not a cake!
