Tell us a bit about you, the person behind the brand?
Glasgow born and raised, by parents from the Hebridean islands. Recently married, mum to a fun loving and free spirited toddler and a beautiful Spaniel. Love travelling, creating/crafting, being outdoors, sunshine, shopping, hair, make up, and all things social.
How did your vision/passion begin?
Event planning has always been a passion and styling my own wedding planted a fire in my heart too strong to go amiss.
What’s your favourite part of doing what you do?
I quite literally love helping couples’ dream weddings become a reality for them. I feel a little happy dance come upon me when I see their faces light up.
What one piece of advice would you give to couples?
To do exactly what they would like to do and not what they think others might want - it is YOUR wedding day.
What attracted you to our alternative wedding directory? I was drawn to the quirkiness of it - wedding planning should be anything but run of the mill. I am very much looking forward to working alongside a group of creative and talented suppliers.
Who is your biggest icon, and why? Okay, in terms of iconic people in my life, I am going to go down the route of my own parents. My mum can literally light up a room with her positive outlook and fun loving nature. She did an amazing job when balancing mum life with her career and was an amazing role model to me. My dad is a master carpenter to trade and is incredibly talented at what he does. He believes, and proves daily, that anything is possible if you are willing to put in the hard work necessary. What’s for dinner? We are such foodies in our house! Tonight we will be having homemade minestrone soup followed pasta and garlic bread - comfort food bliss on this dreary day.
