A Glimpse into Zakynthos
One of the most beautiful places in the world, it's no wonder the Venetians named this Greek island 'Fiore de Levante' meaning flower of the East. Zakynthos is also known as Zante. With breath taking white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and that famous shipwrecked beach pictured above, it also features lots of greenery and guaranteed sunshine providing the perfect setting for your beach wedding!
Siobhan and Jake: Venus Gardens Weddings Zakynthos, Kalamaki
Siobhan and Jake got married in the most stunning venue Venus Gardens Resort in Kalamaki. Saying their vows beneath a gorgeous gazebo with the clear blue sky and crisp white buildings in the background, their colour palette of cream, beige and shades of blue was perfect for this beautiful setting. We just love the relaxed vibe of Mairi's images.
Venus Garden Resort offers a wide variety of settings for weddings and features stunning natural Greek scenery all around giving Mairi the chance to capture some gorgeous images of Siobhan and Jake. Bride Siobhan has "looked at these photos everyday since" her wedding day. "Mairi is amazing at what she does. She knew all of the perfect spots around the venue and took the most incredible shots as the sun was setting. On top of being an amazing photographer she is such a lovely person and helped me out so much with recommendations and advice for planning our day (she is a Zante expert!)" Siobhan.

Misha & Kurt: Addimare Villa, Alykes
Misha and Kurt chose a slightly different venue for their big day in the Alykes area of the island. Addimare Villa and Venue features a private villa with a sweeping sea view, a stunning wedding venue attached and a little white chapel 50 metres from the venue. Saying their vows beneath a gorgeous floral arch in the outdoor ceremony area, the couple were joined by their family and friends for their intimate ceremony on this stunning island.
Look at those smiles! Mairi has used the natural landscape and beautiful grounds to capture the most beautiful memories for the couple. We love the smart casual vibes of the groomsmen in their waistcoats and trainers and the bridesmaids gorgeous beige Grecian style gowns go perfectly alongside Misha's beautiful Maggie Sottero off the shoulder wedding dress.

Shot in St Nicholas Beach in Argassi with the most gorgeous little Greek chapel as the backdrop, this shoot captures the essence of the island beautifully.
