We chatted with our amazing Directory Member Rebecca Attack of Holeyn Heritage Photography. We also met Becky at the last uncon show at the Drygate in February. Becky brought the most amazing energy to the show and we can't wait to see her again in October!

Becky's photography style is natural, whimsical, joyful, creative, romantic and relaxed. She also works for the National Trust Scotland at The Hermitage in Dunkeld and has the most amazing portfolio of gorgeous Scottish elopements and weddings all over Scotland.

Tell us a bit about you, the person behind the brand?

I’m a creative soul, always have been from my Theatre beginnings to photography and everything in between I’ve got you covered. I’m here for the romance, I’m here for the alternatives, I’m here for the lovers, I’m here for walking boots & wedding dresses, for kilts & Ceilidh dancing & so, so much more!

How did your vision/passion begin?

I trained at drama school that's what brought me to Scotland, the RSAMD (showing my age) I mean the Royal conservatoire darling! Spent over 15years in Theatre and film, now I’ve bought that creativity to my photography.

OK this explains a lot Rebecca! You are so outgoing and fun and bubbly. We can totally see you on the stage!!

What’s your favourite part of doing what you do?

Storytelling, I’m an absolute sucker for love and I love to tell your stories and bring them to life through my photography. You’ll find me in the great glens, Lochs, forests & fields. On beaches, by waterfalls & rivers. Up Munro’s all over the wild rugged part of our majestic land. I still have to pinch myself that this is my real life, I feel so lucky that I get to travel all over Scotland and utilise the Scottish highlands as my muse.

What one piece of advice would you give to couples?

Relax - You do you. Everyone always worries and says they are not photogenic. I tell them to relax and just focus on each other that’s when the magic happens.

What attracted you to our alternative wedding fair?

I’m not afraid to experiment and get creative, I listen, I see and connect with my couples. I adore the adventurous souls, the ones who don’t mind putting on their wellies and hiking up a hill with me to get the shot! I had the most amazing day at the first show in February, I can't wait to meet more creative couples in October!

Who is your biggest icon, and why?

Icon… (you mean aside from Ant & Dec) I’m in their music videos as I started out with them on Byker Grove - Wey Aye Man!

Love it!!! Ok so we just spent the last 30 minutes watching PJ & Duncan videos! We think Becky is in a leather waistcoat can you spot her?

What’s for dinner?

It’s a bit chillier today so I got a pot of soup on the go! I actually love the dreich days and capturing the mood!

Becky will be featuring at our uncon show on 1st October in The Drygate in Glasgow where she will be performing Let's Get Ready to Rhumble (maybe???)
